We have many opportunities for pet animals to participate in clinical trials. Each listing below has a quick summary plus a link to more information for each study.
A minimally invasive blood sampling study to identify dogs at high risk of developing Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma (DLBCL). Samples must be collected at the University of Minnesota, Small Animal Hospital.
This project aims to create a simple blood test that can accurately check if a healthy dog has undetected diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) or is at high risk of developing it. In the future, this test could be paired with targeted treatments to prevent tumors from developing.
A double-blinded study to investigate the safety and efficacy of an investigational monoclonal antibody to aid in the treatment of malignant oral melanoma in dogs
This study hopes to understand how a new combination immunotherapy works and to determine if it is effective in the treatment for dogs with relapsed and refractory aggressive lymphoma. There are two separate aims for the study using VSV (vesicular stomatitis virus) as a singular treatment and in combination with an anti-PD-1 inhibitor.
