Staying at the center

The dormitory houses up to 24 students and includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining and commons area, laundry facilities, and a locker room for barn clothes. Wireless internet and a phone line for local calls are available.

Dorm rooms - Most dorm rooms sleep 2 people, either with a shared bathroom between 2 rooms or with a private bathroom within the room.  Each room has a dresser, desk, desk chair and lamp for each person.

Commons - The commons area includes dining tables, couches, and a video projection system.  Bookshelves house the John Fetrow Dairy Education Center's collection of dairy magazines, books, and videos.

Kitchen - The kitchen includes 4 cooking stations, each with a stove and oven, microwave, pots, pans, cooking utensils, serving ware, coffee maker, and refrigerator.

Laundry - Six washer/dryer units are available for use by guests, with some specifically designated for "barn clothes."

Locker room - Boots and coveralls are kept downstairs in the locker room to help keep the dorm area cleaner.
