Shaoyuan Tan defends PhD

Shaoyuan Tan, DVM, MS, successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled, “Use of Sequencing Technologies to Improve Swine Infectious Disease Management.”
Dr. Tan was advised by Cheryl Dvorak, PhD, and the late Michael Murtaugh, PhD. Tan continues to work with Dvorak and the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab while seeking a bioinformatics position in the Twin Cities area. Congratulations Shaoyuan!
