Distinguished Research Career Award recipient

VBS Professor Kathleen Boris-Lawrie received the Annual Distinguished Research Career award from the Center for Retrovirus Research at the Ohio State University. This award recognizes her innovative and  far-reaching contributions to retrovirus biology, particularly in the areas of messenger RNA capping and regulation of specialized translation. Her keynote seminar was entitled, "Unexpected Roles for Hypermethylated Cap and Nuclear Proteins in HIV-1 and Host mRNA Translation." For more information, please visit the OSU website.
