2021-2022 MnDRIVE Global Food Ventures Fellowships:
The MnDRIVE Global Food Ventures (GFV) graduate student professional development award initiative seeks to promote a broader and deeper understanding of our interconnected food systems through experiential cohort learning. There were 27 applicants and five slots awarded to CVM students. Three of those five were awarded to VBS students including:

Comparative Pathology/Medicine T32 Training grant
The Comparative Medicine and Pathology Training Grant at the College of the Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota offers veterinarians state-of-the-art research training. DVM trainees will pursue a PhD in the Comparative and Molecular Biosciences (CMB) Graduate Program. This multidisciplinary graduate program was created to focus graduate education efforts by faculty interested in comparative biomedical sciences and molecular mechanisms responsible for human and animal health and disease. American CARES Act Degree Completion grants
The American CARES Act grant provides funds allocated from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) as a resource for students who have encountered unforeseen expenses due to COVID-19.
