Anna Jaeger receives IMV Training Program T32 Fellowship

Anna Jaeger, CMB graduate student working in the laboratory of VBS Assistant Professor Matthew Aliota, was the recipient of the highly competitive fellowship (T32) from the UMN Institute for Molecular Virology Training Program (IMVTP).


The overarching research theme of the IMV training program is virus-host cell interactions, which encompasses mechanisms of viral replication and restriction and molecular pathogenesis. IMVTP Fellows are expected to participate in all IMV activities, including the virology journal club, IMV Research-in-Progress, IMV Innovations in Virus Research Lecture Series, UMN-Mayo Distinguished Lectures in Virology & Gene Therapy, and the annual IMV Symposium.
