Susan Spence, DVM

Dr. Sue Spence is a U of MN Veterinary School graduate, class of 1994. After graduation, she completed a rotating internship at a large private practice, Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, FL. She has enjoyed many aspects of veterinary medicine including; private practice, shelter medicine/surgery, mobile high volume high quality spay/neuter service with MNSNAP, low cost veterinary services at Mission Animal Hospital, among other opportunities to serve clients and their pets. She has always enjoyed teaching students throughout her career, and has volunteered with CVM student groups such as SIRVS and VeTOUCH for several years before joining the CVM faculty in her dream position of teaching clinical skills to first, second, third, and fourth year veterinary students! She loves helping students learn skills and apply their knowledge to help their patients.
