Emily Geary, BA

Emily joined the MSHMP project in the Fall of 2016 as the Data Coordinator. Originally from Minnesota, Emily traveled working as a field biologist focused on land management, behavioral ecology, and wildlife biology from 2011 to 2016. As the MSHMP Data Coordinator Emily manages the Weekly Report, data security and use by collaborating researchers, coordinates with participating systems, and helps direct a pilot project focusing on Foreign Animal Disease response in Minnesota. Emily is particularly interested in the interface of ecology, environmentalism, land management, and alternative ranching methods, and hopes to pursue a graduate degree in an ecological field.
