CVM rankings improve
QS World University Rankings recently listed the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) as the 13th-best veterinary medicine program in the world, and the fifth-best veterinary medicine program in the United States. The CVM has moved up 11 spots in the world ranking and three spots in the US ranking since 2018.
Additionally, the QS World University Ranking listed the CVM’s research impact score and citations as the 12th-highest in the world for veterinary schools.
“I am excited to see that the quality of our education, research, and service programs continues to be well regarded within the US and throughout the world,” says Dean Trevor Ames, DVM, MS.
The QS World University Rankings rank the top 50 veterinary programs in the world. They are based on a combination of reputational surveys completed by academics and employers, and data-driven indicators of research impact.
The US News and World Report also recently listed the CVM among the top ten programs in the United States.
