Information Session and Q&A Panels
Just starting to think about a career in veterinary medicine and admission to veterinary school? Learning about our DVM program is a great first step! All are welcome, including high school and college students, as well as those looking to make a career change. Watch this recorded presentation on what our program offers, and then connect with us virtually for a live Q&A session. Application Preparation Seminars
Applying to veterinary school in 2022? The UMN CVM will host two webinars this summer for candidates applying for fall 2023 admission to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program.
Each webinar will provide an overview of our DVM program, explain how applicants are evaluated, and offer tips on how to best prepare your application. Come prepared to ask questions!

Group information sessions
Group information sessions are offered over ZOOM on a limited basis to groups with a strong interest in admission to the DVM program, such as college pre-veterinary clubs. Content can be customized to group needs and ages. Please check back in September for more details regarding in-person group visits.
NOTE: Participants must be in ninth grade or higher.

Ask an Admissions Advisor
We offer individual appointments with an admissions advisor to discuss very specific questions about a prospective student’s circumstances, including:
- their academic history
- transcripts
- suggestions for gaining additional experience
- prerequisite courses
Advisor appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. CST to 3:30 p.m. CST
