Give to the Max Day
Give to the Max Day, a Minnesota-wide day of giving for all non-profits, is set for November 15 this year. Give to the Max Day is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. As the University participates in Give to the Max Day each year, many departments and units within the College of Veterinary Medicine will be working to raise money on November 15:
The Veterinary Medical Center: An anonymous donor has agreed to match all Give to the Max Day donations for the VMC General Support Fund dollar-to-dollar up to $15,000.
The Raptor Center: The first $54,000 in gifts to The Raptor Center on Give to the Max Day will be matched by three loyal donors; Rachel Hollstadt, Acorn Charitable Trust, and the Sarah J. Andersen Fund of the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation.
Leatherdale Equine Center: The first $5,000 in gifts to the Leatherdale Equine Center on Give to the Max Day will be matched by Kathy and Larry Mottl, DVM.
Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship: Veterinary Medicine has been called the "whitest health care profession in the country." Help support this scholarship and take a small step in impacting the future of veterinary medicine
