Biography
Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I obtained my DVM degree from the National University of Colombia where I worked for 4 years after graduation as veterinary staff and instructor. In pursuit of advanced clinical training, I moved to North America, and completed a 1-year Large Animal Medicine internship at the University of Saskatchewan, and a 1-year fellowship, as well as a 3-year residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at Oregon State University. After completion of my residency, I remained at Oregon State University as a clinical instructor and emergency clinician at the Large Animal Hospital.
